My Impressions – Failing to Succeed

  1. K. Vaitheeswaran, the author of Failing to Succeed answers ‘I do not know’ to the question about his bitterness. There is, however, a good portion of bitterness in his book. The reason for this can be possibly found in his statement: What really hurt was the way we died?

There are wonderful insights into every aspect of the value chain of the e-commerce industry. The book includes plethora of ideas – small & big, dos & don’ts, strategies & tactics, and much more for the e-commerce industry & players. Vaithee has poured his entrepreneur life’s experiences out in 200 pages & he has strong, very strong views. Unfortunately, almost every chapter oozes ‘why me’ and some negativity. Let this not deter you from completing the book. There are many gems within for everyone.

I am not a great fan of e-commerce industry – the way it is today had not heard of Indiaplaza and K Vaitheeswaran or Vaithee before I picked up his book. The title of the book attracted me to buy the book. It was worth it.
