My father’s legacy is his book.

My father's legacy is his book.
My father, Dr. Kasichainula Kameswara Rao

I am proud of my father. My father’s book was recently published and is titled; Atreyapuram to Mumbai Megapolis. The Exciting Journey of a Village Boy.  And, in his book, my father Dr. Kasichainula Kameswara Rao has shared the experiences of his life. Thus, my father’s legacy is his book because of the way he leads his life.

My father’s story; in brief.

My father was born in Atreyapuram, a village in South India. And, this village had no electricity, no proper roads, and was water-locked on all sides and thus no communications before sunrise and after sunset. In such conditions, my father completed his junior high school studies in a vernacular language namely Telugu with distinction.

On passing high school, he completed his graduation in Mathematics with high distinction from a nearby town college. Further, my father completed his post-graduation in Statistics with first class.

Starting his career as a lecturer in an Agricultural University, he landed a job in the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), one of the World’s prestigious Central bank. Thus, he began his journey in the Mumbai Megapolis.

Through sheer hard work, sincerity, and dedication, my father went on to become Executive Director & Economic Advisor at Industrial Development Bank of India, one of Asia’s premier development bank.

On successful completion of his career, my father decided to go back to his roots and thus moved into his ancestral home at Atreyapuram. In his second stint, he became a successful farmer in his agricultural land. After completing his desires at his native place he decided to return to his karmabhoomi.

My father's legacy is his book.

These days, my father leads a happy retired life with my mother at Navi Mumbai. Their two sons and one daughter are well-educated and are doing reasonably well in their respective lives. And, their six grandchildren are all set to emulate their parents and grandparents.

My father completed the hand-written manuscript of his book in June 2017. But, it took me 18 months to publish the book.
