CK Prahalad is a management and leadership guru. CK is well known for there key concepts: Core Competence, co-creation of value, and profitability potential at the Bottom of Pyramid (BoP).

“Like Peter Drucker, CK was the bridge between the academic world and the real world.” writes Jagadish N. Sheth, Charles H. Kellstadt Professor of Business, Emory University (U.S.A) There is a liberal dose of this in his book.

The best parts of this book are Chapter 7: Distilling CK – A Critique of his published work by S. Manikutty, Adjunct Faculty, IIM, Bangalore & Faculty, IIM Ahmedabad (retired) and Chapter 8: a reproduction of CK’s speech delivered in New York on August 15, 2007 titled Vision and Framework – India @ 75.

This book is aimed to be a compendium of who CK was but it is not so much.
