Activities of Svadhit in 2019

This post includes the activities of Svadhit in 2019. Svadhit1 is a not-for-profit organization that pursues profit. And, Svadhit measures profit by the impact on the lives due to its activities. Svadhit conducted four activities in 2019, including its flagship event as listed below. In the month of May 2019, Svadhit purchased books for free distribution.Svadhit donated to The Akshaya Patra Foundation in September 2019.Svadhit sponsored a Free Women’s Camp conducted by The Yoga Institute, Santacruz, Mumbai on 8th October 2019. This is Svadhit's flagship2 event.In the month of February 2020, Svadhit donated to The Yoga Institute, Account Donation - ANNABRAHMA. The flagship event of Svadhit in 2019. Svadhit’s corpus is from the personal monies of the trustees and the trustees make an attempt to conduct at least one activity every three months.…

With 2019, a new chapter began for me. 2018 was a milestone year. Equally, an important event occurred in 2019. Suseela and I completed 25 years in our marriage. Thus, this one event is the most cherished amongst all the memories of 2019. This post reflects upon two other memories of 2019. Leaders of Learning To satisfy my curiosity, I yearn to gain knowledge from different sources. In 2019, I formally enrolled in three courses. I successfully completed two courses of study offered by HarvardX.CS50B: CS50's Computer Science for Business Professionals, andGSE2x: Leaders of Learning.I successfully qualified Masterclass for Directors conducted by the Institute of Directors. A new chapter of my life begins in 2019.

I celebrated my 50th birthday in 2018. And, our daughter gifted a Fitbit that she bought from her monies, earned as an intern. That day, it dawned on me that a new chapter of my life begins in 2019. 2018 was a milestone year. Two other events, across different generations of my family, make 2018 a milestone year. i. A new chapter opens in our daughter's life in 2019. Our daughter, Svikriti Kasichainula, graduated as an Engineer (ECE) from Rutgers University in 2018. Migrating to a faraway town, city, or country for education is a centuries-old phenomenon. But, the societal cultures of India continue to negotiate with this reality because of their deep-emotional bonding. And a child forever remains a child, to the parents of these cultures.
