In his book, Satya presents himself; both as a Microsoft insider and as an individual quoting from his own fascinating story, experiences & beliefs. Satya presents Microsoft; past, present & future. Satya paints a vision of the potential opportunities created by technology; present & future. Satya consistently uses two (or three) broad themes: Soul, Culture, & Empathy with Technology as the bedrock to explore each dimension in his book. One read is not sufficient to appreciate all the dimensions that Satya traverses in Hit Refresh.

The book includes plethora of ideas – small & big, dos & don’ts, strategies & tactics, and much more for the e-commerce industry & players. Vaithee has poured his entrepreneur life’s experiences out in 200 pages & he has strong, very strong views. Unfortunately, almost every chapter oozes ‘why me’ and some negativity. Let this not deter you from completing the book. There are many gems within for everyone.
