Activities of Svadhit in 2019

This post includes the activities of Svadhit in 2019.

Svadhit¹ is a not-for-profit organization that pursues profit. And, Svadhit measures profit by the impact on the lives due to its activities.

Svadhit conducted four activities in 2019, including its flagship event as listed below.

1. In the month of May 2019, Svadhit purchased books for free distribution.
2. Svadhit donated to The Akshaya Patra Foundation in September 2019.
3. Svadhit sponsored a Free Women’s Camp conducted by The Yoga Institute, Santacruz, Mumbai on 8^th October 2019. This is Svadhit’s flagship² event.
4. In the month of February 2020, Svadhit donated to The Yoga Institute, Account Donation – ANNABRAHMA.

Svadhit’s corpus is from the personal monies of the trustees and the trustees make an attempt to conduct at least one activity every three months. And, since Svadhit’s inception, the trustees have been successful to achieve this goal.

¹ Svadhit is a not-for-profit and Svadhit’s mission is to support the cause of Gyan as a means of improving lives. The three main areas of Svadhit’s activities include Annadana, Yoga & Wellness, and Students’ Welfare & Career assistance.

² This is Svadhit’s flagship event because 8th October is an important date in Svadhit’s charter. 8th October is an important date because it is Dr. Hansaji Yogendra’s birthday. And, Yog Guru, Dr. Hansaji is the director of The Yoga Institute.
